Matcha White Hot Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 small pieces of white chocolate (adjust to taste)
- Matcha powder (to taste)
- 1 cup of preferred milk (soy, almond, etc.)
- Optional: Additional matcha for garnish
Instructions:
- In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the white chocolate until smooth.
- Sift desired amount of matcha powder into the melted white chocolate and mix until fully incorporated, resulting in a green-colored mixture.
For the Hot Milk:
- Heat 1 cup of preferred milk in a saucepan until hot but not boiling.
- Alternatively, heat the milk in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes, depending on the wattage of your microwave.
Assembly:
- Once the milk is heated, foam it using an electric frother or a handheld milk frother until frothy.
- Pour the hot, frothy milk over the matcha white chocolate mixture.
- Stir until well combined.
- Optional: Sift a little matcha over the foam for garnish.
