Matcha Strawberry Mille-Crepe Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Vanilla sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • MyMatchaClub Ceremonial Organic Matcha (approximately 1 tbsp)
  • Liquid whipping cream
  • Strawberry syrup

Instructions:

For the Crepes:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, and matcha powder.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk until a smooth batter forms.
  • Stir in melted butter and vanilla sugar to taste.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour a small amount of batter into the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom evenly.
  • Cook each crepe for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until lightly golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.

For the Strawberry Cream Filling:

  • In a separate bowl, whip the liquid whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in strawberry syrup to taste, creating a pink-colored cream.

Assembly:

  • Place one crepe on a serving plate or cake stand.
  • Spread a layer of strawberry cream over the crepe.
  • Repeat layering crepes and cream until desired height is reached, ending with a crepe on top.
  • Optional: Spread a thin layer of cream on the top crepe and sift matcha powder over it.
  • Decorate the top with fresh fruits or other desired toppings.
